OPTECH 2026 to examine how technology is changing rental housing operations

- October 28, 2026

Rental housing operators are rethinking how they manage properties as technology becomes more deeply embedded in insurance compliance, vendor oversight, data management and resident services. The challenge is no longer limited to adopting individual software tools, but finding ways to connect them across daily operations.

OPTECH 2026 will bring together rental housing operators, technology providers and industry leaders in Las Vegas from November 16–18 to examine these changes. Organized by the Real Estate Technology & Transformation Center (RETTC), the annual conference focuses on innovation in rental housing operations, technology, marketing and data.

The event has been held for more than 25 years, connecting real estate leaders with technology providers to discuss emerging tools and operational challenges. Its 2026 agenda covers artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, customer experience, data management and policy trends, with discussions intended to help operators assess how technology can be applied to real-world business needs.

One of the areas receiving attention across the sector is the management of insurance requirements and vendor compliance. Property managers often rely on separate systems to track insurance certificates, vendor documentation and contractual obligations, creating administrative work as portfolios grow.

Get Covered, a real estate technology company focused on insurance and risk compliance, will participate in OPTECH 2026 through CEO Brandon Tobman’s attendance. The company provides software for property managers, landlords, insurance carriers, agencies and membership associations.

In June 2026, Get Covered acquired Revyse, an AI-powered vendor intelligence and compliance platform. The acquisition added vendor documentation, contract management and spend intelligence capabilities to Get Covered’s existing insurance compliance business.

The combined offering reflects a broader effort to connect insurance and vendor risk management within property operations. Get Covered says its platform supports insurance compliance across more than three million rental units in the United States.

As OPTECH brings together companies developing and adopting rental housing technology, discussions will focus on how AI, automation and connected data systems can address operational challenges while improving visibility and compliance across property portfolios.
